Chef Stephen Terry runs the Hardwick on the Old Raglan Road just outside Abergavenny, a dining pub with rooms built around cooking from Monmouthshire produce. The food is the reason to come, though there are eight bedrooms around a courtyard if you’re staying over. Abergavenny is the nearest town and station, a couple of kilometres north.
