One of the pubs on the narrow cobbled main street at Dent, the George & Dragon is a traditional real-ale local in one of the Dales’ most picture-perfect villages. Straightforward, friendly and welcome after a walk in Dentdale. The Sun Inn is its near neighbour. Dent station is about 6km east — and a stiff climb above the village.
