Right on the Great Ouse below Ely cathedral, the Cutter has a terrace over the water that fills up with boaters and walkers in fine weather. It does straightforward pub food through the day and is one of the easiest stops in the city to reach, with Ely station only a few minutes’ walk up the hill.
