On the green at St Boswells, the Buccleuch Arms is a country inn with a busy bar and a garden, a short stroll from the Tweed. It’s a good stop for a meal or a night by the river, and popular with anglers and walkers. Tweedbank, the northern end of the Borders Railway, is about 8km to the north-west.
