Din Lligwy is a walled settlement near Moelfre whose stone foundations still stand waist-high — round huts and rectangular buildings inside an enclosing wall. Roman pottery of the 3rd and 4th centuries turned up here, though the site may go back to the Iron Age. A short field walk from the lane reaches it, free and open, and the ruined Hen Capel Lligwy chapel is close by.
