Set on its own in the middle of the island, St Cwyllog’s is a medieval church that has escaped much Victorian tidying-up, so it keeps a plain, old-fashioned 18th-century interior with box pews. There’s not much else at Llangwyllog, which is part of the appeal. Open to visitors; Bodorgan station is the nearest, some 10km to the south-west.
