Traeth Coch is a huge tidal bay of sand and mudflat on the east coast, drawing wading birds when the water pulls back. The tide comes in fast across the flats, so keep an eye on it. Waterside inns ring the bay, among them the Ship Inn. Llanfairpwll station is about 9km south.
