Anglesey’s first Baptist chapel, built in 1750 on the edge of Llangefni. It’s closely tied to the celebrated one-eyed preacher Christmas Evans, who ministered here in the early 1800s. Still a working evangelical church. The later Capel Penuel in the town was raised in his memory. Llanfairpwll station is about 9km to the south-east.
