Plas Newydd’s gardens run down to the Menai Strait, with parkland and woodland and a long view across the water to the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia). It’s a National Trust place, the garden open to visitors around the house. Llanfairpwll station is only a few hundred metres away, which makes it one of the easier Anglesey gardens to reach without a car. For something wilder and more watery, Plas Cadnant is nearby.
