Treborth is Bangor University’s botanic garden, laid out along the wooded shore of the Menai Strait. Glasshouses of orchids and cacti, an arboretum and patches of native meadow make it as much a teaching resource as a garden to wander. Run largely by staff, students and volunteers, and open to visitors free of charge.
