Come for a lakeside walk or a paddle: Llandegfedd Reservoir spreads across the hills between Usk and Pontypool, a drinking-water reservoir with trails around its shore. The visitor centre has a café, and sailing, paddleboarding and fishing run for a fee. The paths are free to walk; Pontypool & New Inn station is about 4km to the north-west.
