Open accessfree to visit at any reasonable time
Laid out from 1872 by the cemetery designer William Gay, Pudsey Cemetery makes dramatic use of its sloping site, its twin Gothic chapels standing on the high ground at the back. The chapels themselves are closed, but the grounds are a working cemetery, run by Leeds City Council, and free to walk around at any reasonable hour. The Leeds Country Way passes close by if you fancy extending the visit into a longer walk.
