Saltaire United Reformed Church
When the mill owner Titus Salt built his model village at Saltaire, this was the first public building to go up. Completed in 1859 to a design by the Bradford architects Lockwood and Mawson, it’s an Italianate church with a semicircular portico and a domed tower, facing Salts Mill across the road. Salt himself lies in the family mausoleum attached to it. Grade I listed and part of the Saltaire World Heritage Site. Open on advertised days; Saltaire station is right beside it.
