Cow and Calf Rocks

The Cow and Calf are two big millstone-grit outcrops on the northern edge of Ilkley Moor — the Cow a broad crag, the Calf a boulder sitting beside it. Climbers practise on the faces and there’s a car park close by, so it’s an easy stroll to reach, with wide views over Wharfedale. From here you can walk straight up onto Ilkley Moor or across to White Wells.
