White Wells is a whitewashed 18th-century bath-house on the flank of Ilkley Moor, built over a spring where people once came to take a cold plunge. It still has its plunge pool, plus a little cafe, and opens on advertised days — a flag flies when it’s on. It’s a steady walk up from Ilkley, with grand views back over the town and easy links onto Ilkley Moor.
