An early-1900s Arts and Crafts garden at Holt, laid out as a run of hedged rooms in the Hidcote manner — water gardens with lily ponds, deep herbaceous borders, cloud-shaped topiary and a small arboretum beyond. There’s no grand house to tour, so the garden is the whole visit. National Trust, paid entry, between Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge.
