Cistercian monks at Warden Abbey grew vines on this Old Warden field in the Middle Ages, and it was replanted in 1986 as a community vineyard. Run largely by volunteers, it offers guided tours and tastings of its wines, bookable from late May to October — not a drop-in, so book ahead. The Swiss Garden and the Hare and Hounds are both close by.
