Clophill lies on the Greensand Ridge, its older houses — Georgian fronts and thatch — gathered along the lanes below the ruined shell of the old St Mary’s church on the hill above. The village has a relaxed feel and plenty of listed buildings. The Flying Horse sits in the middle of it. Flitwick station is about six km south-west.
