Planted in 2021 on Jurassic limestone near Ketton, The Rutland Vineyard is one of the county’s newer wine ventures, run by Tim and Zoe Beaver. Its first white, First Crush, took a silver at the 2023 WineGB Awards and sold out within months. A visit takes in a one-kilometre nature trail through the vines and tastings in the barn. Stamford station is around 5km north-east.
