The Great Yorkshire Brewery sits behind the New Inn at Cropton, a moorland village brewery that’s been turning out cask ales since the 1980s. You can look round the brewhouse on a tour and then settle in at the pub next door to try the results. It’s well off the main roads, high on the North York Moors — handy for a pint if you’re staying nearby.
