Biddenden is Kent’s oldest commercial vineyard, first planted by the Barnes family in 1969 and still run by them near Biddenden. As well as wine they make cider and apple juice, and there’s a shop, tastings and a free self-guided trail through the vines. Headcorn station is about 8km to the north.
