The Baxters food company still makes its soups and preserves beside the Spey at Fochabers, and the Highland Village is the visitor side of the works: a factory shop and cafe. It’s free to look round and handy if you’re passing on the A96. Gordon Castle Walled Garden is nearby in the same village. Keith station is about 11km south-east.
