The Gordon Arms is an old coaching inn on the high street at Fochabers, well placed between the Speyside distilleries and the Moray coast. It makes a straightforward stop for food, a drink or a bed for the night while you’re touring whisky country. Gordon Castle Walled Garden is a short walk away in the same village. Keith station is about 11km to the south-east.
