This tiny church sits on a slope above the little River Dunt, its Saxon nave patched with herringbone stonework and topped by a saddleback tower of 1587. Because the ground falls away so sharply, there is room for a small crypt beneath the chancel — an unusual thing in a village church. It is easy to miss and worth the detour off the Cirencester lanes.
