A motte-and-bailey castle once stood here — today it survives as earthworks in Gloucestershire. It is one of seven motte-and-bailey castles the Albion Guide charts in the county. It sits within the Cotswolds National Landscape. For arrivals by rail, Kingham Station is 10 km to the east.
