Aberavon Beach is a long sweep of sand along Swansea Bay at Port Talbot, backed by a seafront promenade and popular with surfers and walkers. It shelves gently and stays open all year, with parking behind the front and a leisure centre and cafés nearby. Baglan station lies a little over 2km to the north-east.
