The Gnoll is a registered historic landscape park on the hill above Neath, laid out around the vanished Gnoll mansion with formal cascades, ponds and a lake fed from the slopes behind. It’s a country park now, with woodland walks, a play area and a café, and Neath station is barely 2km away to the west. Free to walk the grounds.
