Tabernacle Chapel, Morriston
The Tabernacle is the great showpiece of Welsh chapel-building, raised at Morriston in 1872 to the design of the local architect John Humphrey. It seats around 3,000 and has been called the Nonconformist Cathedral of Wales, its tall spire and columned front standing well above the terraced streets. Llansamlet station is about 3km to the east.
