Capel y Crwys is a large Independent (Annibynwyr) chapel at Three Crosses, on the ridge above the Loughor estuary, and locals call it the Cathedral of the Gower for its size and standing. Welsh-language worship here is part of the fabric of these upland villages. Gowerton station is about 3km down the hill to the north-east.
