Mumbles Head is the rocky point that closes the western arm of Swansea Bay, ending in two small tidal islands. The outer one carries an 18th-century lighthouse; a Victorian fort sits on the inner. You can walk out over the rocks near low water, with the coastguard lookout above and Bracelet Bay alongside. Mumbles Pier is just round the corner.
