Twin-islet lighthouse headland on Swansea Bay.
Mumbles curls round the western end of Swansea Bay, a Victorian seaside resort grown out of an old fishing village. There’s a pier, a front lined with cafes and pubs, and the two islets of Mumbles Head with their lighthouse at the tip. It’s the usual way onto the Gower, and the bays of Langland and Caswell start just around the point. Swansea station is about 7km to the north-east.
