A white tower mill on the summit of Napton-on-the-Hill, a landmark for miles across the flat Feldon and down over the Oxford Canal. There has been a mill up here since at least the 16th century; the present stone tower ground grain by sail into the 1900s and later by steam. It is now a private house, so you take it in from the footpaths that climb the hill rather than up close.
