One of the strangest windmills in England — a cylindrical stone tower of about 1632 raised on six arches, built for Sir Edward Peyto of Chesterton Manor. It ground corn until 1910, and after restoration in the 1960s it is the earliest tower mill in the country to keep its working parts. It stands on a ridge above the old Fosse Way; the exterior is open any time, the interior on occasional heritage open days. Leamington Spa station is about 7km to the north-west.
