Laid out between 1846 and 1848 beside the River Leam, Jephson Gardens are Leamington’s formal Victorian showpiece, named after Dr Henry Jephson, the physician who made the town’s spa waters famous. A Corinthian temple holds a marble statue of him, and there’s a glasshouse of exotics, a sensory garden and long riverside lawns. Open access, and Leamington Spa station is only about 600m to the south-west.
