A hilltop village above the Oxford Canal, with long views over the Feldon. The red-brick tower windmill on the summit was built around 1835 and worked until about 1900; it’s now a private house rather than a working mill, but a landmark for miles around. St Lawrence’s church stands high on the hill too. Napton Cidery is nearby.
