Come here to walk into Waterfall Country. Pontneddfechan sits where the Nedd Fechan meets the Afon Mellte, and paths run up both rivers from the village to a string of falls in the wooded gorges. There’s a pub and a car park at the start. Ystradfellte lies a few miles up the valley, closer to the Mellte falls themselves.
