Dinas Rock is a big limestone crag standing over the river at Pontneddfechan, at the eastern gateway to Waterfall Country. Climbers work its faces, and a walk from the car park follows the Sychryd and Nedd valleys up towards the falls. The paths start level then turn rougher, and rock near the water can be slippery. Treherbert station is about 10km to the south-east.
