The Art Deco Jubilee Pool has curved along the Penzance seafront since 1935, a great triangular seawater lido that in 2020 added Britain’s first geothermally heated pool. Behind it, the terminus town climbs from a subtropical promenade and is the jumping-off point for Land’s End and the Scilly ferry. Penzance station sits right by the harbour — the end of the line from London.
