On the edge of Penzance, Polgoon is a family-run vineyard and cider orchard making still and sparkling wine alongside its fizzy ‘aval’ cider. Tours run year-round and end with a tasting, and there’s a kitchen in the old vine house for lunch. Penzance station is a short way east, about 1.5km, so it’s easy to reach without a car.
