Reputedly the oldest pub in Penzance, the Turk’s Head traces its name to a 13th-century legend of the harbour being raided. A tunnel said to have run down to the quay — handy for smugglers — reaches the old cellar, now the dining room. It’s a low-beamed town local a short walk up from the seafront.
