Inkberrow gathers timber-framed cottages round a green, and is best known to radio listeners: it is the model for Ambridge in BBC Radio 4’s The Archers. The Old Bull on the green, a sixteenth-century black-and-white pub of low beams, stands in for the programme’s Bull and keeps a wall of Archers memorabilia inside.
