Cobbled Wharfedale village, cast as Darrowby.
Grassington is the busy hub of Upper Wharfedale, its cobbled square ringed by tea rooms, galleries, pubs and shops. Old lead-mining cottages climb the lanes above, and the moor behind is dotted with the remains of the industry. It stood in for Darrowby in the recent All Creatures Great and Small remake, and puts on a well-loved Dickensian festival each December. Threshfield and Linton are just across the river.
