Facing the beck and green at Linton, a mile from Grassington, the Fountaine is a picture-book old inn of log fires, low beams and snug corners, looking across to the village’s old almshouses. A gorgeous spot for a lazy lunch after a riverside walk. Gargrave station is about 11km to the south-west.
