Once a drovers’ inn, the Angel is now a Michelin-starred restaurant with rooms led by chef Michael Wignall, whose menus make much of meticulously sourced, seasonal ingredients. The individually styled rooms echo the surrounding Dales. Work up an appetite first on the Dales High Way, which passes the hamlet, or on the climb up nearby Sharp Haw.
