Dunsfold is a scattered Weald village strung along a long green common. Its church, set a little apart from the houses, is prized for its 13th-century woodwork, including some of the oldest church benches in England, with a holy well beside it. This is deep countryside with no nearby station; Witley, about 6km west, is the closest.
