Local highlightA 16th-century Surrey Hills pub with oak beams, open fires and shepherd’s huts to stay in, plus a famous herd of resident llamas. Since 2023 the Hilltop Kitchen team have cooked honest, seasonal British food drawing on the pub’s own farm. The Greensand Way runs close by for a walk in the hills, with Winkworth Arboretum a short hop northeast for autumn colour.
