Chiddingstone is a single street of Tudor houses, owned almost entirely by the National Trust and often used for filming. Beside it stands Chiddingstone Castle, a country house given a mock-Gothic castle front, with a moat and grounds. The street is free to wander at any time. Penshurst station is about 2km north-east.
