Ceres is a tidy conservation village south of Cupar, gathered round a green with an old humpbacked bridge over the burn. The Fife Folk Museum here is worth a look for its collection of local rural life. The Fife Pilgrim Way passes through, so it’s a natural stop if you’re walking towards St Andrews. Cupar station is about 4km north-west.
