A wood-fired pop-up sauna on the concrete below the Salty Dog café at Cayton Bay, twice a month

On the second and fourth weekends of the month, Whitby Wellbeing sets up a wood-fired pop-up sauna at Cayton Bay, south of Scarborough. You take the steps down from the Salty Dog beachfront takeaway onto the flat concrete, and the sand is a few steps further. The sessions are run with the Salty Dog, so coffee and cake are right there afterwards, and sea dips are optional.
