Scarborough Spa is the grand cluster of buildings under the cliffs on the town’s South Bay, built up around mineral springs first tapped in the 1600s. These days it’s a concert and conference venue, with a sun court, a theatre and cafes along the seafront terrace. You can wander the promenade and grounds freely; the shows are ticketed. It’s a short walk round the bay from Scarborough station.
